Magazine
writers often need to get review copies of books for their research, and book
reviewers need to get review copies for their...well, their reviews. But every
publisher has a different way to request copies -- some tell you to fax a
request, others tell you to e-mail a specific person, and yet others ask you to
call a certain department. Digging through each publisher's website to unearth
the instructions can be a big PITA. That's where The Review Copy Helper comes
in: it's a database created by freelance writer Linda Formichelli that lists
publishers, their contact info, and instructions for ordering review copies.
The
Review Copy Site is now new and improved...and moved. Linda updated the
entire database in July 2006 and moved it to her permanent
site.
