About W. Eric Martin

Upon finishing his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 1999, W. Eric Martin began writing on a full-time basis for numerous trade publications that had nothing to do with mathematics. Such is life….

Eric has since written about such diverse topics as how to recycle computers, the meaning of sexual fantasies, New England's rail systems, and how teenage football players can prepare for college interviews. He's a Jack-of-all-trades who can write about any topic in a style that will bring tears to your eyes (in a good way, mind you).

His longtime interest in board and card games has led to explorations in game design, as well as editorship of BoardgameNews.com. While still writing articles for various publishing clients, Eric now spends much of his time pontificating about play and fulminating over fun while writing news, reviews, previews and interviews about the world of board games.
